Plymouth Academy provides services for students with disabilities in grades 9-12. Located in Plymouth, Indiana (inside the JESSE Central Office).  Plymouth Academy follows the Plymouth Community School Corporation calendar. Plymouth Academy offers a morning session (8:00­-11:00 EST) and an afternoon session (12:00­3:00 EST). The program offers a wide variety of courses for high school credit. The classroom is led by a licensed special education teacher along with one instructional aide.

This program is designed for students who are typically under­motivated, academically and/or socially overwhelmed, or simply needing “something different” compared to the traditional school settings.  Plymouth Academy is NOT designed to serve as a self-contained (ED) behavioral classroom.  This program serves as an extension of the participating school corporation, and all students remain a student of their home school corporation throughout the duration of their placement in the program.
